Andrew Lincoln says The Walking Dead "will live on and it will continue to be great" after his departure
“There’s something beautiful in the original DNA of the show in that it is all about change,” Lincoln, who got a "taste" of the show when he shadowed a director with plans to direct an episode himself in Season 10. “It’s exciting because there is a sense that there is a new vision for the show,” he adds of new showrunner Angela Kang.
