Charmed reboot creator says "of course" she can empathize with original star Holly Marie Combs
Combs has been the most vocal among the original Charmed stars in her disapproval of the reboot. "It was a huge part of her life and if [she's] watching it go in a different direction, then of course that's going to be hard," says executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman. "I understand that." Cast member Madeleine Mantock added that she's "disappointed" taht the original cast isn't happy with the reboot "because I think the script is fantastic. I think it's going to be incredible. I hope maybe she can see it and like it, but on the other hand this was a (big) part of her life, and she's entitled to feel however she wants." ALSO: Charmed has a real witch in the writers' room.
