FS1 accused of showing pro-Joseph Stalin propaganda as part of its World Cup coverage
A National Geographic-produced FS1 segment this morning seemed to humanize the brutal Russian dictator with a tour of his vacation home. "Think what you will about Joseph Stalin, but there’s no denying that this was one of the most formidable figures in all of history," said presenter Sergey Gordeev. As Twitter users quickly pointed out, Gordeev works for the Russian government-controlled TV station NTV.
