FX developing a series based on U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer's life

Boxer, the California politician who served in the House of Representatives from 1983 to 1993 and in the U.S. Senate from 1993 to 2017, will also serve as inspiration for Run, about a woman launching a highly improbable bid for Congress. Boxer and her daughter, Nicole Boxer, are executive producers on the potential series.
