Hasan Minhaj gets the U.S. Military to apologize for using the phrase "Negro blood"
Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj is already getting results less than a week after its premiere. On the second episode, titled "Saudi Arabia," the former Daily Show correspondent pointed out that the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) training manual uses the phrase “Negro blood” in reference to the Saudi population. “Oh, America. Even in boring technical manuals, you still somehow manage to be racist," Minhaj said of the discovery. On Thursday, CENTCOM apologized and said it would be removing the offending document.
