Nancy Pelosi rejects President Trump's plan to deliver his State of the Union speech before Congress
The House speaker rebuffed President Trump's intention to speak after Pelosi essentially disinvited him last week due to security concerns over the federal shutdown. When a reporter asked Pelosi what would happen if Trump showed up in the House chamber next Tuesday, she said he'd have to speak outside. In fact, as House speaker, Pelosi controls the video and audio feed from the House chamber.
