Sinclair Broadcasting is said to be planning to launch a streaming TV service to rival Fox News
The largest owner of local TV stations in the nation had previously denied that it wanted to creative a national conservative media outlet to rival Fox News. But Buzzfeed reports that Sinclair is planning to launch STIRR, a free streaming app that would would house a 24/7 TV channel featuring local news and national programming with a conservative bent. A spokesperson for Sinclair declined to comment.
