TNT boss blames the ouster of Snowpiercer's original showrunner on his lack of TV experience
Josh Friedman wasn't happy to be let go from the show -- based on the 2013 movie of the same name -- that he had been developing for two years. He tweeted that his replacement, Graeme Manson, was “either an idiot, a coward, or a vichy motherf*cker.” TNT and TBS president Kevin Reilly, speaking at the TV press tour, explained Friedman's ouster on Monday, saying: “We had a pilot that was really promising with some creative people behind it. In that case it was a filmmaker who hadn’t really done television before; mounting a series was a different order.”
