Tucker Carlson experiences a huge drop in advertisers following resurfaced misogynistic and racist comments
Tucker Carlson Tonight had 54 advertisers in March 2018. The data company Samba TV found that Tucker's Fox News show went from 36 advertisers on the Monday before the release of Media Matters tapes of Carlson's old interviews with shock jock Bubba the Love Sponge to 14 advertisers the day after. “This is a sizable fall-off in advertisers,” media analyst Brad Adgate tells The Wrap. “This doesn’t seem to be blowing over.” ALSO: Samantha Bee takes on Carlson in segment in Full Frontal segment.
