Guy Fieri signs $100 million three-year deal to stay at Food Network
Fieri's new deal is valued at more than $100 million and will carry the Mayor of Flavortown, who won The Next Food Network Star in April 2006, through his 20th anniversary with Food Network. "This fresh pact means that Fieri retains his title as the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned cable channel’s highest-paid talent and bests his most recent multiyear deal, which closed in 2021 for $80 million," reports Variety's Jennifer Maas. Warner Bros. Discovery head of food content Betsy Ayala adds, in a statement: “Recognized everywhere he goes, there is only one Guy Fieri. Guy’s love of food, restaurants, and the chefs behind the dishes, combined with his extraordinary passion for crafting series with stories that resonate make extending this partnership a clear choice in our mission to deliver to viewers more of what they love.”
Starz renews Power Book III: Raising Kanan for Season 4 ahead of its Season 3 premiere this Friday
“We’re thrilled to continue Kanan Stark’s story, and for fans to see how the events of his formative adolescent years continue to mold him into the cold-hearted villain they were first introduced to in Power,” Starz president of original programming Kathryn Busby said in a statement. “We are quite sure that after viewers see the battle lines being drawn between Raq and Kanan on this epic upcoming third season that they will demand more.”

The BBC series from CBS Studios will star Game of Thrones alum Coster-Waldau as the Duke of Normandy and Happy Valley's Norton as Harold, Earl of Wessex, "two 11th century men destined to meet at the Battle of Hastings in 1066 – two allies with no design on the British throne, who found themselves forced by circumstance and personal obsession into a war for possession of its crown," per Variety. The eight-episode series is created, written and executive produced by Sherlock Holmes screenwriter Michael Robert Johnson.

The Doctor Who, House of the Dragon and The Crown vet will star in and executive produce the limited series adaptation of Cave's 2009 darkly comic novel of the same name. "Smith will play the titular role of Bunny Munro, a sex addict, door-to-door beauty product salesman and self-professed lothario whose life is derailed by his wife Libby’s suicide," per The Hollywood Reporter. "Together with 9-year-old son Bunny Junior, he embarks on an increasingly out-of-control road trip across Southern England as the two struggle to handle their grief. Bunny by trying to seduce any woman he meets, Bunny Junior by talking to the ghost of his mother as he slowly realizes his father is a mess. Eklöf and Cave will also executive produce the series."

In the new book Welcome to The O.C.: The Oral History, released today, The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz and executive producer Stephanie Savage team up with TV critic Alan Sepinwall to look back at the Fox drama series, including the re-casting of an older Kaitlin Cooper after she was originally played by Shailene Woodley. "We saw quite a few people for that," Savage recalls, according to EW. "We saw Hayden Panettiere, we saw Britt Robertson. Lily Collins." Schwartz adds: "We had a meeting with Emma Stone," who Savage says looked like Melinda Clarke, who played Julie Cooper. But ultimately, Schwartz says Stone "felt green in that moment."
