Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs are collaborating on a Holiday Touchdown Christmas movie
The reigning Super Bowl champion NFL team and Hallmark Channel are teaming on Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, which will air during Hallmark’s annual "Countdown to Christmas.” The holiday movie appears to be an attempt to cash in on the Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce romance. Tyler Hynes, Hunter King and Ed Begley Jr. will star in the Holiday Touchdown, which will film entirely in Kansas City, Missouri, becoming the first Hallmark production to film at the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. This is the second time this year the Chiefs and Hallmark have collaborated. Earlier this year, they teamed up for movie trailer spoof Falling for Football, also starring Hynes. Here is Holiday Touchdown’s official logline: “Alana Higman (King) is sure that her family’s lifelong history as Kansas City Chiefs superfans makes them a frontrunner to win the team’s ‘Fan of the Year’ contest. Derrick (Hynes), Director of Fan Engagement, is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against the other two finalists. As the pair spends time together, it’s clear there’s a spark between them but when her grandfather’s (Begley Jr.) vintage Chiefs, good luck winter hat goes missing, Alana begins to doubt everything she believed about fate, destiny and even questions her future with Derrick – unless, that is, a little Christmas magic can throw a Hail Mary.”

John Oliver's Last Week Tonight roast of the UK election and the Tories will be made available to stream in Britain after it wasn't shown on TV on Monday
"No, John Oliver‘s lengthy rant about the UK election and Conservative Party woes is not about to be censored in Britain," reports Deadline's Jake Kanter. "Sky Comedy did not broadcast the latest episode of HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver in its usual Monday home, sparking fears it would not be made available to British viewers. Video-on-demand content is not regulated as tightly as TV in Britain." In his rant, Oliver urged British voters to "wash away the Tories" and make July 4 "Independence Day" in Britain.
