Jon Huertas to star in NBC's Fire with Fire series adaptation from The Rookie's Alexi Hawley
Former This Is Us and Castle star Huertas is set to return to NBC, teaming with The Rookie and The Recruit creator Hawley for an untitled drama series inspired by the novel Fire with Fire by bestselling author Candice Fox. Former Arrow co-showrunner Wendy Mericle will write the series, with Hawley serving as executive producer. The Fire with Fire series would mark Huertas return to acting after starring as Miguel Rivas on This Is Us. Here's the official logline: "When a pair of grieving parents hijack an LAPD forensics lab and threaten to start destroying evidence until the police find their missing daughter, an unlikely partnership between grizzled undercover cop Enrique Arroyo (Huertas) and rookie flame-out Lynette Lamb is forged as they race to solve this cold case before the situation explodes." As Deadline's Rosy Cordero notes, "if the show goes to series, Huertas will be one of the growing number of Latino leads currently on TV alongside George Lopez in NBC’s Lopez vs. Lopez, Ramon Rodriguez on ABC’s Will Trent, Manuel Garcia Rulfo in Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer, Eugenio Derbez in Apple’s Acapulco and Diego Luna in the Disney+ series Star Wars: Andor."
Gabriel Luna boards The Terminal List Season 2 as fan-favorite character
The Last of Us and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. vet will recur opposite Chris Pratt as Freddy Strain, a fan-favorite character from Jack Carr's novel. A former SEAL Team 6 senior chief and current officer with CIA’s Ground Branch, Strain is "a man of two worlds – equal parts elite sniper and dedicated family man," per Deadline. "His belief that James Reece survived the events of The Terminal List S1 will pull the ‘Most Wanted Man on the Planet’ out of hiding and back into the fray. Reece shows Freddy that desperate times can call for operating outside the lines, while Freddy’s commitment to family, country, and cause will help guide Reece on his path to redemption."

Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin's wife arrested for allegedly plotting to have him killed
Victoria Goodwin allegedly hired an imprisoned convicted killer, Grant Amato, to arrange to have a hitman kill her husband. "Cops say Victoria told them she first learned about Amato in a true-crime documentary and became pen pals with him while he was behind bars," TMZ reports. "Police say Victoria told Amato she wanted to kill Aaron and provided information about Aaron's location and set times in California while he was filming Ghost Adventures with Zak Bagans." Victoria Goodwin is currently being held on $100,000 bail and is scheduled to make her first appearance in court today.

The three-part docuseries was supposed to drop on Monday. But American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden failed to show up on Netflix's platform and its YouTube trailer had been edited to remove its release date. A Netflix representative confirmed the delay to What's On Netflix, saying they had a “scheduling shift” but noted they’d keep us updated with a new release date as and when it becomes available.
