Ray Romano to star Netflix's No Good Deeds dark comedy from Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman
The Emmy-winning former Everybody Loves Raymond star is returning to TV to star to play Paul, "a contractor desperate to retire, pay off his debts and get out of Los Angeles," per Variety. "Constantly stressed and flat broke, Paul’s solution to his money problems is to sell his beautiful Los Feliz home, but his past mistakes will continue to haunt him." No Good Deeds follows “three very different families vying to buy the very same 1920s Spanish style villa that they think will solve all their problems. But as the sellers have already discovered, sometimes the home of your dreams can be a total nightmare,” per the official logline. Netflix ordered Dead to Me to series in May 2022. Since Everybody Loves Raymond, Romano has starred on HBO Max's Made for Love and Epix's Get Shorty. He also recently guest-starred on Bupkis and Bookie.

As part of her new deal, the WNBA star, who was released from a Russian prison one year ago this week, will tell her story a scripted drama series from ABC Signature, and ESPN Films documentary and via an interview with ABC News' Robin Roberts. “The last two years have been the most harrowing, transformative and illuminating period of my life, and I am grateful to be in a place now to share my story with the world,” Griner said in a statement. “I’m proud to partner with ESPN and Disney to share this very personal story because of its incredible potential to inspire hope around the world and their proven ability to do just that.” Griner was imprisoned for 10 months in 2022 on marijuana charges.
50 Cent producing a documentary on the sexual assault allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs
Following news that a fourth woman has come forward with allegations against the hip-hop mogul, 50 Cent tweeted that he's making a documentary via his G-Unit Film & Television production company, tweeting out some from the untitled film. “Proceeds from this Documentary will go to victims of Sexual Assault and Rape,” 50 Cent wrote.
Loki tops Nielsen's Streaming Top 10
Among original series, Disney+’s Loki had 753 million viewing minutes for the week of Nov. 6-12. Netflix's All the Light We Can See was No. 2 with 744 million viewing minutes.

The 65-year-old British poet, writer and actor who played Jeremiah “Jimmy” Jesus on Peaky Blinders died today, eight weeks after he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. “We are so shocked and devastated at the news of the death of our friend Benjamin Zephaniah,” Peaky Blinders' social media accounts posted in a statement. “He was a much-loved, instrumental, and influential part of the Peaky Blinders family from the very start, as well as to the creative community at large.” Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy also paid tribute, saying in a statement: “Benjamin was a truly gifted and beautiful human being — a generational poet, writer, musician and activist. A proud Brummie and a Peaky Blinder. I’m so saddened by this news. RIP.”

Andrea Fay Friedman, Life Goes On star with Down syndrome, dies at 53
Friedman starred in the third and fourth seasons of the ABC 1989-1993 family drama, playing Amanda Swanson, a college student with Down syndrome who dates and later elopes with, the show’s main character Charles “Corky” Thatcher (Chris Burke), who also has Down syndrome. As Deadline notes, "both the series and Friedman’s storyline were revolutionary in both casting and fully-rounded depictions of people with the syndrome."
