Will Stephen Colbert ask Bill Clinton about Monica Lewinsky and the #MeToo movement?
The former president, in promoting his The President is Missing novel he co-authored with James Patterson, has already made headlines when asked about his 1998 scandal by CBS Sunday Morning and NBC's Today. As Buzzfeed points out, there will likely be more #MeToo questions. Clinton is scheduled to appear on Colbert's Late Show on Tuesday, where the question about Lewinsky and the #MeToo movement might be broached. (Colbert hasn't been afraid to discuss sexual misconduct with past guests Ben Affleck and James Franco.) Clinton is also set to visit Live with Kelly and Ryan on Friday and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah on a date yet to be announced.

Jimmy Kimmel: The Larry Sanders Show inspired me to do ads within my talk show
Years ago, Kimmel was watching the Larry Sanders episode where Garry Shandling’s character had to shill for the “Garden Weasel.” “They forced him to do it and it turned out to be funny,” says Kimmel. “It was interesting. I felt like maybe it was a sign.” With the show facing financial pressures at the time, Jimmy Kimmel Live! has since done in-show ads for everything from KFC to Ciroc vodka. “With the show in Brooklyn, we do more integrations, because it’s very expensive to travel,” Kimmel adds. “I think it costs more than $1 million a show. It’s a lot for us. We do need to pump that up.”

Jimmy Kimmel tells CBS he’d do his political monologues again “in a heartbeat” — even if it means losing Republican viewers
“Three years ago I was equally liked by Republicans and Democrats,” Kimmel said in a CBS Sunday Morning profile. “And then Republican numbers went way down, like 30% or whatever. And, you know, as a talk show host, that’s not ideal.” Kimmel says of his political monologues, “I would do it again in a heartbeat,” adding: “I’d love for everyone — I want everyone with a television to watch the show But if they’re so turned off by my opinion on health care and gun violence, then I don’t know. I probably won’t want to have a conversation with them anyway.” ALSO: Kimmel says ABC never stepped in over his monologues: “They had more concerns about my beard.”
