Sarah Jessica Parker says "there is no catfight" with Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall
"I’d just like to remind everybody that there is no catfight," the Divorce star tells Vulture. "I have never uttered an unkind, unsupportive, unfriendly word, so I would love to redefine it. I also want to remind everybody that there were four women on the set and I spent equal time with all of them, so this was not a set with two women who didn’t get along. I’ve always held Kim’s work in high regard and always appreciative of her contributions. If she chooses not to do the third movie, there’s not a lot I can do to change her mind and we must respect it. That’s the only thing I’ve ever said about it, you know?" In the Peak TV era, it's harder to be buzzworthy in Season 2

HBO's Divorce works best as a “mini-binge”
“In a way,” says Lea Palmieri, “Divorce almost feels closer to a movie than a show: sitting with these characters for 90 minutes at a time just feels more fun than a mere 30 minutes.”

Divorce's “jangly new attitude” in Season 2 is a refreshing change from its dour first season
“Gone are the muted colors and the dowdy dresses,” says Rachel Syme. “Robert even shaves his mustache, and with it, a decade from his age. In the second episode of the new season, Frances purchases a giant trampoline for her backyard, and she spends more than a little time bouncing on it, honey highlights akimbo. She wears turquoise and emerald green, white palazzo pants, summery floral prints, and slings pastel satchels casually over one shoulder. The season begins six months from where it left off—a television secret for pressing the reset button—and, instead of intense acrimony, the lead characters now approach each other with a new tolerance.”

Divorce Season 2 will have a lighter feel
“The first (season) was, on purpose, kind of dark and intense,” says showrunner Jenny Bicks. “It took place in the winter and everything about it was tough for them. They were not seeing what they ever had together in the past. I wanted this season to be the aftermath of the explosion.” For Season 2, she says, “it’s spring — so literally, it's lighter out. It's so easy when you're in the midst of a fight with anybody to blame the other person for everything that's gone wrong in your life and now, once you take a step back, you're not allowed to blame that person anymore.”
