Comedy Central announces premiere dates for Drunk History and Corporate
Drunk History returns for Season 6 on Jan. 15 with a parody of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, featuring Will Ferrell, Seth Rogen, Elijah Wood, Evan Rachel Wood and Jack McBrayer. Corporate returns for Season 2 following Drunk History's premiere.

Drunk History halts production due to the Southern California wildfires
“First time I’ve ever pulled the plug on shooting Drunk History,” creator, executive producer and presenter Derek Waters wrote on Instagram under a photo of him in a cowboy attire and face mask, a huge plume of smoke rising from the hills behind him. “I love my job but I love my crew more. this ain’t funny. Be safe everyone and save the animals.”

“It was scary for me to get drunk,” says the Better Call Saul star, who quit drinking in his 20s. Odenkirk says he nearly backed out of narrating the Steve Dahl’s disco demolition story for the Comedy Central series. "I almost backed out because I haven’t been drunk in a long, long time," he says. "I have kids who are teenagers, both in college now, and I was a little worried about them seeing me on TV really drunk — like — vomiting drunk."

Comedy Central renews Drunk History for a sixth season
“They say history is written by the victors, but after five seasons, it’s now clear that it is best told by drunken comedians,” Comedy Central president Kent Alterman said of the 16-episode renewal.

Comedy Central hands out Christmas specials to The Daily Show, Drunk History and The President Show

The Daily Show's The Yearly Show 2017 will air on Dec. 18. The hourlong special will be taped at the Gramercy Theater on Dec. 3. Drunk History Christmas Special will be shown on Nov. 28, featuring Christmas-themed history stories like George Washington crossing the Delaware River. And the hourlong I Came Up with Christmas: A President Show Christmas airs on Nov. 30.
