“It was scary for me to get drunk,” says the Better Call Saul star, who quit drinking in his 20s. Odenkirk says he nearly backed out of narrating the Steve Dahl’s disco demolition story for the Comedy Central series. "I almost backed out because I haven’t been drunk in a long, long time," he says. "I have kids who are teenagers, both in college now, and I was a little worried about them seeing me on TV really drunk — like — vomiting drunk."

Comedy Central renews Drunk History for a sixth season

Comedy Central hands out Christmas specials to The Daily Show, Drunk History and The President Show

The Daily Show's The Yearly Show 2017 will air on Dec. 18. The hourlong special will be taped at the Gramercy Theater on Dec. 3. Drunk History Christmas Special will be shown on Nov. 28, featuring Christmas-themed history stories like George Washington crossing the Delaware River. And the hourlong I Came Up with Christmas: A President Show Christmas airs on Nov. 30.
