Ed Westwick won't face charges after three women accused him of sexual assault
The former Gossip Girl star was accused last fall of raping two women and sexually assaulting a third. But Los Angeles County prosecutors have decided not to file charges against the actor, citing insufficient evidence. Prosecutors said in a memo that two of the women provided witnesses to help corroborate their account. “Those witnesses were not able to provide information that would enable the prosecution to prove either incident beyond a reasonable doubt,” prosecutors wrote. “Prosecution on those two incidents is declined due to insufficient evidence.”

Szhor tells Cosmopolitan she has known her former Gossip Girl co-star "for years and know how lovely he is, and don’t think he would ever put someone in a position like that. It’s difficult, because you don’t want someone you know to go through that or do that to someone, or knowing them well, knowing that you don’t think they would, and you don’t want, for the girls that are coming forward, it’s like, are they stretching the truth? But I know him well and I’ve known him for years, and I found it shocking.
