Jimmy Kimmel and Ted Cruz may settle their feud with a charity basketball game
Kimmel made fun of the U.S. senator from Texas for his appearance at the Houston Rockets-Golden State Warriors game on Monday. In response, Cruz tweeted a proposal of playing one-on-one with Kimmel, with the loser donating $5,000 to charity. "I like this idea. I’ll accept on one condition - we both wear VERY short shorts," responded Kimmel. Cruz didn't like that idea, so Kimmel suggested crop tops.

Sean Hannity accepts Jimmy Kimmel's "forced" apology, says "I will punch back even harder" next time
Hannity addressed Kimmel at the top of his Fox News show Monday night, saying Kimmel's Sunday apology seemed more like a "forced, Disney apology" to the LGBT community than an apology for making fun of First Lady Melania Trump's accent. Nevertheless, Hannity said "I think every person should accept apologies, and that’s what I’m going to do here." As Matt Wilstein points out, however, Hannity never offered his own regrets for comparing Kimmel to Harvey Weinstein. Hannity did invite Kimmel on his show and promised "no name-calling, no anger, no rehashing of the Twitter fight." But, says Wilstein, "in the next breath, he was issuing a threat." “Jimmy, if you do want to start up again, I promise I will punch back even harder,” Hannity said. “And my producer spent all weekend compiling a lot of your highlights, or lowlights, in your career. They don’t make you look too good. Instead of airing them, we will put them in storage and we have more important pressing issues like what’s happening in Syria and gassing of women and children.”

Jimmy Kimmel moves to end feud with Sean Hannity, apologizes for gay jokes
Kimmel released a statement on Twitter late Sunday morning calling for a cease-fire in his feud with Hannity, saying that while he had "fun," "I realize that the level of vitriol from all sides (mine and me included) does nothing good for anyone and, in fact, is harmful to our country." Kimmel also called out the "vile attacks against my wife and wishes for death of my infant son." Kimmel's wife, Molly McNearney, tweeted that amid the Hannity feud, she has been called a "'c*nt', 'ugly bitch' , with 'defective genes', & asked if my baby ' is in a box yet.'" Kimmel had been under fire for slamming Hannity with gay jokes. He responded that "I most certainly did not intend to belittle or upset members of the gay community and to those who took offense, I apologize." Additionally, Kimmel said he will "take Sean Hannity at his word that he was genuinely offended by what I believed and still believe to be a harmless and silly aside referencing our First Lady's accent. Mrs. Trump almost certainly has enough to worry about without being used as a prop to increase TV ratings." Kimmel ended his statement with a shot at the Fox News host: "I am hopeful that Sean Hannity will learn from this too and continue his his newly-found advocacy for women, immigrants and First Ladies and that he will triumph in the heroic battle against sexual harassment and perversion." Hannity tweeted back that he'll have a formal response on his Fox News show on Monday.

Sean Hannity calls Jimmy Kimmel "Poor man's Colbert," Kimmel responds that Hannity is the "Poor Woman's Rachel Maddow"
The Hannity-Kimmel Twitter feud went on all day Friday and into the night as Hannity promised "must see TV!!" on his Fox News Show. “I don’t take joy in this. But I have just had it with the utter hypocrisy," Hannity said in devoting his entire opening segment to Kimmel, while repeatedly calling the late-night host a "pervert" and "Harvey Weinstein Jr." Kimmel responded on Twitter to Hannity's segment, tweeting: "Dear @SeanHannity thx for the trip down Man Show memory lane. The idea that YOU'd call ANYONE a 'pervert' while slobbering over Trump, Ailes, O’Reilly and, YES, Roy Moore – who you DID SUPPORT is, to quote a fella you love very much, 'Sad!'"

Jimmy Kimmel slams Sean Hannity for trivializing Harvey Weinstein as the Fox News host keeps bringing up his Man Show past
Hannity continued calling Kimmel "Harvey Weinstein junior" over his Man Show past on Friday, specifically referring to a comedy bit in which women were asked to "Guess What's in My Pants?" When Hannity made it part of "Today's poll," Kimmel responded: "I vote for whichever one best helps you trivialize the horrors of Harvey Weinstein by comparing them to televised comedy bits in which every woman was a willing participant who gladly signed a release." As one of Hannity's commenters pointed out, Kimmel's Man Show co-host Adam Carolla has been a guest on Hannity's radio show.

Jimmy Kimmel and Sean Hannity are feuding
The Fox News host and the ABC late-night star have been trading barbs, on TV and on Twitter, with Hannity calling Kimmel "#pervertkimmel" and "Harvey Weinstein Jr." as Kimmel mocked Hannity as "#clownpornsean." The feud kicked off when Hannity went after Kimmel for making fun of First Lady Melania Trump's role in the White House Easter Egg Roll earlier this week, calling the joke a "despicable disgrace" from "ass clown Kimmel." Kimmel responded on his show Thursday night, saying: "If I'm an ass clown — and I very well might be — you, Sean, are the whole ass circus." That led to a back-and-forth on Twitter, with Hannity posting clips from Kimmel's Man Show past. "Jimmy that’s you being a pervert a**hole. How would you feel if that was your daughter?," Hannity tweeted while continually referencing Kimmel's Disney employment. Kimmel's wife and co-head writer, Molly McNearney, also responded to Hannity, tweeting: "Oh man, Sean. If you are offended by that 20 year old comedy bit, WAIT until you hear what our President said to Billy Bush!"

Megyn Kelly Today references “Hanoi Jane” in her escalating feud with Jane Fonda
In response to Fonda saying Kelly is “not that good of an interviewer” for asking about her plastic surgery, Kelly said on Megyn Kelly Today this morning that she has “no regrets” about asking the Grace and Frankie star about plastic surgery, noting that she was promoting a film about aging. Fonda, she said, “has no business lecturing anyone on what qualifies as offensive,” calling her a “woman whose name is synonymous with outrage… Look at her treatment of our military during the Vietnam War — many of our veterans still call her ‘Hanoi Jane’ thanks to her radio broadcasts, which attempted to shame American troops. She posed on an anti-aircraft gun used to shoot down our pilots.”
