Why did Stephen Colbert conduct a better James Comey interview than George Stephanopoulos?
That Comey's ABC News interview was a one-hour exclusive primetime special might have played a role in it being lackluster, says James Poniewozik. "The Colbert interview with Comey was so much better than ABC's," he tweeted. "Maybe that's partly the benefit of going after all the initial headlines have come out. But it's also the diff b/w an interview that goes after ideas vs one going for bombshells."

George Stephanopoulos criticizes his ABC bosses for censoring “sh*thole”
