Fox: "We haven't made a decision" on L.A. to Vegas and Ghosted
Both comedies still have a number of episodes to air in July. But Fox executives insist that the fact that they are both single-camera comedies -- while all other Fox live-action comedies will be multicamera next season -- has nothing to do with their future. Fox's bloodshed is partially due to Thursday Night Football -- Fox to decide between Lethal Weapon and Gotham
Fox has until Monday to find a replacement for the fired Clayne Crawford on Lethal Weapon. If that doesn't happen, then Gotham would be renewed and Lethal Weapon would be canceled, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which also notes that Fox has yet to make a decision on Ghosted and L.A. to Vegas. Meanwhile, the Disney deal is one of the reasons why so many shows were canceled. But the addition of Thursday Night Football means that Fox will have 30 less hours of time to fill this fall on a network that only programs until the 10 p.m. hour.

"I’ll say this: Aziz is doing great. He’s a great, lovely guy. How’s that?" As for Fox's Ghosted tonal revamp: "I’ll say this: I think it’s possible for a bunch of well-meaning people to enjoy working with each other and realize at some point they were each working on different shows," he says. "That’s what happened with us. Part of it was me thinking we were making a mix of Midnight Run and The Twilight Zone, without considering that everybody might not like Midnight Run or even know what I meant when I said that."
