Riverdale creator talks about the shocking Season 2 finale and the challenges of filling a 22-episode season
Robert Aguirre-Sacasa says going from 13 episodes in Season 1 to 22 episodes in Season 2 required shifting genres. This week, it's a horror movie. This week, it's The Godfather. This week, it's a kidnapping thriller. This week, it's the Blossom gothicness.'" The idea is keeping it fresh and telling a story for a big cast of characters."
