Russell was shown flipping his middle finger during last night's NBA Awards when Charles Barkley and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar were presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to Oscar Robertson. ESPN's superstar NBA reporter appears to go "rogue" in tipping NBA Draft picks
ESPN and other NBA broadcasters have an agreement in place to not have their employees reveal draft picks on Twitter before they're broadcast on TV, in an effort to maintain suspense. But ESPN NBA insider "extraordinaire" Adrian Wojnarowski, who made his name tipping NBA Draft picks ahead of time, has found a way to get around the pick-tipping by tweeting "here's how the Top 6 of tonight's NBA Draft is taking shape" hours ahead of time. This is Wojnarowski's first NBA Draft at ESPN after years of reporting for Yahoo Sports.

In defense of Fergie's National Anthem: What if her performance was actually good?
"When offered anything that dares to be different, social media actively worked to uphold orthodoxy," Jesse David Fox says in defending Fergie. "Experimentation in general is a good thing, and it can be an exceptional thing when it happens in such a public forum. Fergie’s performance was not a failure of conception or execution, but expectation.
