The Good Morning Britain host received a pie in the face from British comedian Harry Hill after much uproar over his Monday tweet mocking Daniel Craig for "emasculating" himself by carrying his baby in a papoose.

Piers Morgan: We paid Meghan Markle's dad for his first TV interview
Thomas Markle appeared live via satellite on the Morgan co-hosted Good Morning Britain this morning. But Morgan insists the payment for the interview was no big deal. "Well, it was a small amount of money, a few thousand pounds," says the former CNN host. "He was offered stratospherically lots more money by different media organizations. He could've made a lot more money doing what he wanted to do."

Oxygen greenlights 10 new true-crime series, including Serial Killer with Piers Morgan
Former CNN host and America's Got Talent judge Morgan will return to American TV by visiting with and interviewing three of America's most depraved serial killers. Also coming to Oxygen are Buried in the Backyard, A Wedding and a Murder and Cult of Killers.

Roseanne premiere did especially well in flyover states

The ABC revival did well nearly everywhere, but its best ratings performance happened in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Roseanne also over-performed in Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Detroit and Oklahoma City. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, Roseanne didn't get great ratings in all red states. Its worst numbers came from North Carolina. Its second-worst ratings came from the San Francisco Bay Area.

First Celebrity Apprentice winner Piers Morgan lands an interview with President Trump
This spring marks the 10th anniversary of Morgan's victory on the first Celebrity Apprentice, which aired in early 2008. And Morgan will reunite with his friend Trump in Davos, Switzerland for a special called President Trump: The Piers Morgan Interview, airing Sunday on ITV. Morgan, who went from America’s Got Talent to hosting a CNN show, now works on ITV’s Good Morning Britain. “I’m Piers Morgan and I’m here in Davos, Switzerland - not to do some skiing but to do some grilling of President Donald Trump,” Morgan said in an Instagram video promoting the special. He added: “My world exclusive interview with the man that everybody wants to talk to. No fake news here, I’m getting to the truth.”

Kim Cattrall calls out Sarah Jessica Parker in her handling of Sex and the City 3 situation
Cattrall, in an interview with Piers Morgan, insists she made an “empowered decision” to turn down the film, and that she has moved on. But Cattrall was particularly incensed with the handling of the media reaction. “This is really where I take to task the people from Sex and the City and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker in that I think she could have been nicer,” she says. “I really think she could have been nicer. I don’t know what her issue is, I never have.”
