Sex and the City boss: Kim Cattrall was never happy that Sarah Jessica Parker was the star of the show
In an interview with James Andrew Miller's Origins podcast, former showrunner Michael Patrick King detailed the source of tension between Cattrall and Parker. While Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis were happy to be in supporting roles, King says that Cattrall felt that she and her character Samantha Jones was as popular Parker and Carrie Bradshaw. “Kim fought and said, ‘I’m everyone’s favorite,'” King said. “Sarah Jessica said, ‘Yeah, that’s why the show worked, you were certain people’s favorites, they loved you. Certain people loved Kristin and people liked Cynthia but you were the favorite and that’s why the show worked. That doesn’t mean you’re being punished.” ALSO: Mr. Big would've been killed off in Sex and the City 3.

David Cross: I think Arrested Development is done after Season 5
Netflix dropped the first half of Season 5 last May amid controversy over Jeffrey Tambor's on-set behavior towards co-star Jessica Walter and a disastrous New York Times interview with Walter and the male cast members. Cross said this week on the Late Night with Seth Meyers Podcast that “at the beginning of the new year they’ll show the next eight (from Season 5), as I understand it," but he doubts there will be another season. “I’ve learned to say ‘never say never,’ but I can’t see it happening again, I think for a number of reasons,” said Cross.

In the meantime, he is joined by his dependable assistant Sona Movsesian, in an attempt to figure out why a venerable TV legend like himself might want to start a podcast in the first place. Is it really for the friendship, or just the fortune and glory? Or is it maybe to show everyone else just how wrong they’ve been doing it up to now?"

The Good Place podcast is unusual in that offers genuinely useful moral advice
"It’s rare that you get viable advice for life from a TV sitcom, let alone a promotional appendage to a TV sitcom. But The Good Place: The Podcast isn’t just any promotional appendage," says Sam Adams. The podcast hosted by Marc Evan Jackson -- who plays head demon Shawn on the NBC comedy -- is "a portrait of a sane and harmonious workplace in an industry that often treats those qualities as incidental and even inimical to the creation of art," says Adams, adding: "It’s one thing to repeat the old saw that TV is a collaborative medium, another to spend as much time with the head of the props department or the visual effects supervisor as with some of the show’s stars."
