For $10 million, you can buy Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’s original Santa and Rudolph puppets on eBay
The extremely rare Rankin/Bass TV special puppets are listed on eBay for $10,000,000.00, plus $12.75 for expedited shipping. “I was just curious to see what the market would bear,” says Peter Lutrario, who’s owned the puppets since 2010. Rankin/Bass expert Rick Goldschmidt, whose friend restored the puppets and sold them to Lutrario, said: “It’s just sad to see the puppets being put on eBay.” A collector of memorabilia, Lutrario first spotted the puppets on Antiques Roadshow. "I was watching Antiques Roadshow, and I was totally shocked," he said in a 2015 interview with CNN. "I couldn't think about work anymore. I had to give my best effort to owning these dolls."

Has Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer become “problematic” in 2017?
Christina Cauterucci thins so: “When I re-watched the Rankin/Bass production this year, I was alarmed by the cold-heartedness of one of Rudolph’s persecutors in particular: Santa, who I’d always remembered as a sort of silent, complicit bystander to Rudolph’s abuse, not the ringleader he’s made out to be in the TV special. Santa visits Rudolph’s family cave soon after his birth; his main reaction to the newborn son of Donner, one of his most trusted reindeer, is ‘I hope that (red nose) goes away.’”
