The Simpsons raised $25,000 for Hurricane Maria victims in Puerto Rico
Moe the bartender announced the news on The Simpsons’ Twitter account. “Thank you Moe for understanding how we feel,” responded San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz. “We have very little power but having @TheSimpsons in our corner fills our hearts with light.”

NBC, Univision and Telemundo join forces for a Puerto Rico disaster relief telethon
Both Spanish language channels are teaming up for the first time on Saturday for One Voice: Somos Live! A Concert for Disaster Relief, which will begin at 8 p.m. and which NBC will air in the 10 p.m. hour. Expected to appear are Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Jamie Foxx, Coldplay, Gwen Stefani and Ricky Martin.

Stephen Colbert and Nick Kroll raise $1 million with their #PuberMe campaign
Lin-Manuel Miranda visited The Late Show last night to put the fundraiser for Puerto Rico hurricane relief at the $1 million mark. Colbert launched the campaign using his Ben & Jerry's AmeriCone Dream Fund money, promising to pay $1,000 for every celebrity who showed off their awkward puberty photo. Kroll and his Big Mouth castmates kicked in $100,000. ALSO: President George H.W. Bush and wife Barbara Bush join #PuberMe campaign.

The Simpsons turns its season premiere into a relief effort for Puerto Rico hurricane victims
Sunday’s episode, a spoof of Game of Thrones, ended with an image displayed for five seconds encouraging viewers to donate aid to help victims of Hurricane Maria. In it, Marge is holding a “Unido” sign while Homer, Maggie and Bart help hold up a Puerto Rican flag. Lisa is in front of the flag with a tear in her eye, in between the Twitter handles for Unicef, Save the Children, and One America Appeal.

Stephen Colbert and Nick Kroll get celebrities to post their awkward teen photos to help raise money for Puerto Rico relief
Fellow late-night hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’Brien and James Corden joined in the #PuberMe effort, which promised $1,000 for each photo tweeted and is tied to Kroll's new Netflix animated puberty series Big Mouth.
