Supermodel Kloss will serve as host, succeeding Heidi Klum, while fashion designer and Season 4 Project Runway winner Siriano will take over from Tim Gunn as mentor, Bravo announced today. Nina Garcia will return as a judge. Bravo also announced that fashion designer Brandon Maxwell and Teen Vogue editor in chief Elaine Welteroth will also serve as judges. Kloss will also serve as an executive producer. "These are the perfect faces for the new Project Runway, as we recalibrate for a new generation of fashion enthusiasts,” says Shari Levine, Bravo's executive vice president of current production. “They are entrepreneurs and trailblazers with tremendous reach inside and outside the fashion industry, and give Bravo and our producing partners, Magical Elves and Lantern Entertainment, the right fuel to re-energize the franchise.” In a statement, Kloss said of hosting Project Runway: "As someone who grew up watching Project Runway, I could not be more excited to host and produce a series that provides a platform to aspiring American designers as they pursue their creative and entrepreneurial dreams." Siriano added: "Project Runway has offered such wonderful opportunities for so many and I’m excited to take on this role as a mentor. I hope to guide and inspire the new talent on the rise.”

Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn speak about their Project Runway exit, emphasize having "full integration" with their new Amazon show
“On Amazon, you lay in bed and watch your favorite show — hopefully that will be ours — and then you click to the fashion and can possibly have that in your closet,” Klum said Sunday at the Creative Arts Emmys. “I think that’s amazing not only for the buyers but for our designers, because our designers never had that opportunity before and that’s really what you want, you want people to wear your clothes, and now you have that opportunity.” Gunn added: “Where else can you have Amazon Prime video for us and then the Amazon fashion platform for the designers and that full integration?”

After 14 years and 16 seasons on Project Runway, Klum and Gunn have announced they are not returning for the Bravo revival. Details of their new Amazon show are being kept under wraps, but the streaming service said the new show will make fashion accessible to a wide and global audience while taking advantage of the Amazon Fashion shopping experience. "After 16 incredible seasons, I am saying 'Auf Wiedersehen' to Project Runway, a show that I was honored to host and help create,” Klum said in a statement. “I am incredibly proud of the show, and it will always have a special place in my heart." Gunn added: “I am grateful to Project Runway for putting me on a path I never, in my wildest dreams, thought my career would take me! I am so proud to have been a part of the groundbreaking process that showcased talented young designers as never before. Most importantly, I am indebted to our incredible fans, they are the heart and soul of what we do, and continue to inspire us to raise the bar in this arena. I’m excited for them to see what’s next, as I partner with Amazon and Heidi Klum on our next great 'fashion' adventure.” ALSO: Designer Zac Posen is also exiting Project Runway.
